"Pressed" all-ceramic has been successfully used for over 20 years and it stands for esthetic, biocompatible restorations with excellent accuracy of fit.

IPS e.max Press are biocompatible lithium disilicate glass-ceramic ingots. They offer the fit, form and function which is expected from pressed ceramics.

In addition, they offer flexural strengthof 470 MPa and resilient fracture toughness. With optimized esthetic properties, creating all-ceramics restorations that offer true-to-nature results has never been so easy.

Advantages of IPS e.max Press

  • Cost-effective, esthetic alternative to full cast crowns
  • High esthetics, even with different preparation shades
  • Wide range of indications from thin veneers to threeunit bridges
  • Highly esthetic alternative to ZrO2-supported crowns
  • Self-adhesive or conventional cementation of crowns and bridges

IPS e.max CAD has proved its clinical suitability in long-term studies.

The innovative lithium disilicate (LS2) glass-ceramic features a strength (360 MPa) that is 2.5–3 times higher than that of other glass-ceramics. Therefore, it is not only an esthetic, but also an economically interesting alternative to ZrO2-supported single-tooth restorations.

Advantages of IPS e.max CAD

  • Highly esthetic alternative to zirconium crowns
  • Cost-effective, esthetic alternative to full cast crowns
  • Quick clinical procedure
  • Self-adhesive or conventional cementation

A wide variety of restorations can be produced with these materials – from thin veneers to three-unit bridges.

High esthetic standards are fulfilled due to the three different levels of translucency of the A-D shades and the special Bleach and Impulse shades.

Individual characteristics can be added using the staining or cut-back technique.
